Turkeys on the Move

One day we herded them up the hill.
The turkeys are bigger than full grown chickens now. Their feathers are white as snow.
I've observed that if the turkeys are cold, their necks turn beige (instead of its usual red color). When they warm up, their necks turn bright red.
The turkeys think snow is interesting because they gobble at it. Their gobble sounds like a noisy seal.
In the picture right above you, the biggest one is our dad with the turkeys in the snow. The one to the left is our dad holding a turkey earlier this fall. The one above it is our dad herding the turkeys up the hill. You can tell our dad really likes these turkeys!
We've raised these turkeys for Thanksgiving so their time on our farm is almost complete. I wish they didn't have to go!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Love,
Vyla
